Hey Neil! Thanks for the encouragement! Of course I'm just a day into it but it's been interesting so far. For instance, I'm surprise at how reluctant both dogs are to partcipate in the "Pushing" training while feeding.

Another interesting thing...during this AM's walk my big dog bristled at a person ahead on the sidewalk, so I tried jogging toward the person. My dog instantly focused on me and wanted to romp. I guess that's part of "being the moose" that you talk about.

Hi Phil,

Sounds like you have a little project on your hands! I'll be curious to hear how things go with incorporating the tug-of-war into your routine.

For additional encouragement (and reading), I thought I'd direct you to another article on my site that deals specifically with dog aggression. It's a summary of my take on the "whys" and "what-to-dos" - and also acts as a portal for some of my other articles on aggression:
<a href="http://www.naturaldogblog.com/blog/2009/03/what-to-do-when-your-dog-is-aggressive-in-four-steps/" rel="nofollow">Natural Dog Blog article on Dog Aggression</a>

Good luck, and please do keep us all posted on your progress.
