Cortech Scarab Glove Fail

3

Shouldn’t you get more than 2000 miles out of a pair of gloves? I like the way Cortech Scarabs fit. They have a wrist strap that virtually locks the gloves onto your hands and they have plenty of armor. Feels like they’d keep your hands together in a nasty get-off.

Problem is that the Titanium/Carbon fabric came unstitched in the palm of the left glove, after just 2000 miles of riding. Yes I should probably relax the death-grip on the handlebars, but if two months of fairly mild riding can rip loose the palm protection, what’s a nine mile skid going to do?

I’ve browsed a lot of Cortech glove reviews and haven’t seen similar complaints. Anyone else have this problem?
